Janet L. Raney

Janet Lois Raney, 89, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community.

She was born on Sunday, June 3, 1934, to the late Densel and Irene (Workman) Jones in Loogootee, Indiana.

Janet enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and shopping with QVC. She was a wonderful pianist and played the organ. She had a natural musical talent and played beautiful music. She retired from medical collection service in Bloomington, Indiana many years ago.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Kandy (Michael) Raney Lee; 2 grandsons, Matt Coombs (Dora) and Andrew Coombs; 11 great grandchildren, Tina Cave and Annie Smiley, two super special ladies and a host of very special friends.
