Jane Heaton

After a lifetime of adventures, layovers, spontaneous detours, and always squeezing in "just one more memory" before catching her flight, Jane (Reum) Heaton, previously Jane Kelley, has embarked on her final journey - upgraded to first class all the way. On May 3, 2025, Jane traded her passport for wings, leaving behind a trail of stories, souvenirs, and a family who will forever wonder how she fit so much into one life (and one suitcase).

Jane was a woman of endless love and grand adventures. She lived for family, friends, and frequent flyer miles. She was always planning her next adventure and convincing the rest of us to tag along. If laughter adds years to your life, then everyone around her should live to 150. She could turn a wrong turn into a scenic route, and a mishap into a memory.

Jane is survived by daughters Kristina Kelley (Zac Perry) and Lauren Williams (Nathan Williams), husband John Heaton, siblings Linda Butcher and David Reum, and six amazing grandchildren, each of whom carries a little of her wanderlust and an impressive inherited collection of refrigerator magnets from far flung destinations spanning six continents. Jane was predeceased in death by her parents, Milo and Eva Reum, and her siblings, Francis Nichols, Wayne Reum, and Joella Francis.

In lieu of flowers, Jane's family asks that you book a spontaneous trip to make memories with those you love, renew your passport, or maybe, just call your Mom.
