With a heavy heart, we announce that James Edward Loesch II, 51 of Boulder, Colorado, passed away on September 11th, 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana. James was a semi-truck driver and got into a bad vehicle accident on August 10th 2026, in Indiana. He was hospitalized with multiple injuries and though James seemed to be stable and on a long road to a recovery he suddenly succumbed to his injuries and passed away on to his new adventure.

James is survived by his father, Jim Loesch and step mother, Lana Loesch, his older brother, Todd Loesch and his older sister, Trina Baier. James’ mother Edna Loesch passed away in December of 2025, so we are comforted with the hope that he was greeted there by his mom and sister in-law, Brenda Loesch. We are so thankful that Jessica, Jim’s friend and her husband Eric were able to be with Jimmy there in his last moments here on earth.

James was born on June 17, 1975 in Kodiak, Alaska. James’ father Jim Loesch was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard at that location. James grew up with his two siblings in Anchorage Alaska, until he and his mother Edna moved to Jonesboro, Georgia. James graduated High School there in Georgia and then moved to Boulder, Colorado. James worked and went to college in Boulder, until he earned his Commercial Driving License and drove big rigs all around the country. James was a very generous soul, and would often help total strangers out. James even ventured over to Iraq during Operation Iraqi freedom and drove truck as a civilian in support of the US military there. James loved traveling across America, loved meeting new people, he was kind, generous and had a sense of adventure.

James passing at such a young age is a shock to us his, family and friends, but we know he is in a much better place now, with family and friends and with God in heaven.
