Born October 7, 1975 to Barbara S. Goerge and Bobby Jefferies. Adopted father Jerry Coffey, grandmother Betty Hankins, grandfather James E. George, Angie Johnson mother of his son all precede him in death.
His son Maverick James Coffey of Shelbyville, brother Jerry J. Coffey of Indianapolis, sister Betty E. N. Coffey of Shelbyville, Debbie, Rick, and Mark Jefferies all survive.
