Jacob Nathaniel Adams, beloved son of Aleah Adams and Corey Kirkpatrick, was born on August 30, 2025, at 9:29 p.m. and passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 12:08 a.m. at Riley Children’s Hospital, surrounded by love.

Jacob spent his life in the NICU, where he showed incredible strength and bravery every day. During his six and a half months, he touched the hearts of his parents, family, and the many nurses and doctors who cared for him. Though his time here was short, Jacob’s life was filled with love, and he brought so much meaning and light to those around him.

Jacob is deeply loved and will forever be remembered by his parents, Aleah Adams and Corey Kirkpatrick; his godparents, Emily and Jamie McCarter; and the many members of his NICU family and his other family who cared for him and loved him along the way.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jacob’s life will be held for family and friends. Details will be shared with loved ones.

Though Jacob’s time on earth was brief, he will always be his mother’s precious baby boy and will remain forever in everyone’s hearts.
