Jack Lanny McKinney, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 9, 2026.
Born March 26, 1950, in Laurel to William and Lela McKinney, Jack spent more than 50 years as a truck driver and was a faithful member of Friendly Church of the Nazarene. He was known as a hardworking man with a kind heart who deeply loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy McKinney; sons, Shawn (Jessica) McKinney of Texas and Rickey (Brooke) Frailey of Plainfield; daughters, Shayna of Indianapolis and Linda of Indianapolis; sisters, Robin of Brownsburg and Alice (John) of Mooresville; brothers, Steve and Clay McKinney of Indianapolis; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lela McKinney; his brother, Ronnie McKinney; his son, Shane McKinney; Asa Frailey; and his great-granddaughter, Delilah.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
