1956 Holly 2022

Holly Ann Lamb-Parmer

June 22, 1956 — December 29, 2022

Indianapolis

Holly Ann Taylor (Parmer-Lamb), 66, of Greenwood, closed her eyes for the last time at 2:30 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at home with her children.

She was born on June 22, 1956, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Edward Taylor and June (Harden). She was a 1974 graduate of New Palestine High School. She was absorbent and her capacity for knowledge was never-ending. She, then, went on to obtain her Nursing Aid certification and worked as a Nursing Aid for many years. She also achieved the Dean's List during her 2012 graduation from Bowling Green State University of Norwalk, Ohio. At Bowling Green, she achieved a Bachelor's Degree, along with 2 Associate Degrees. She worked a multitude of various jobs, but during the last few years of her life she dedicated (and very much enjoyed) her time loading/unloading airplanes at the FedEx airport.

It is rare that Holly would leave her home and not be recognized by a friend from either the week prior or a decade prior. The capacity of love this incredible woman had was unlike anything anyone in her life had ever experienced. Holly radiated joy, kindness, and peace amongst all she met in the most unique of ways, a truly unforgettable woman. Holly had this insane ability to feel exactly how others were feeling, her empathy was as deep as her love for her children.

Holly is survived by her 2 sons, Mathew M. Parmer (40) and Vincent M.J. Parmer (31), and her daughter, Ariel R. Lamb (23), 4 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Holly’s wish was for everyone who loved her to celebrate her life and influence in our own ways (eat a white castle/fish sandwich, drink a Coke Zero, etc.). Holly was welcomed into death by both of her parents, her daughter (Erika), along with many close friends/family. Holly was loved throughout her entire lifetime, and even more through death.
