Henry Lee Bryant Sr., 81, died on August 29, 2023 in Nobleville, IN.

Mr. Bryant was born on Aug 15, 1942 in Oscealoa, Arkansas to Phillip Bryant and Nancy Stolks.

He attended Summer High School in Cairo, Illinois. After graduating, he enrolled in the United States Marine Corps where he served until retirement after 21 years of faithful service. He then was employed by Illinois State Mental Facility Tinley Park until his retirement after 20 years.

Woodworking was his passion. He enjoyed fishing with his friends and loved sharing “war stories” with anyone that was willing to listen. He loved saving ALL loose spare change.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bryant: his two sons Clifford Durham and Henry Bryant Jr. and their spouses Tammy Durham and Shantana Bryant; Grandchildren Johnny Boyland, Kenya Durham, Emilia Bryant, Jasmine Johnson, Louis Cathey, Elexus Bryant, Kendrick Johnson, Joey Vinardi, Chris Vinardi, Ajontae Bryant, Marcus Vinardi, Neveah Vinardi, and Naomi Bryant; and five great-grand children. Also survived by special family friends Layrashaunda Williams, Shalonda Ham and Mr. and Mrs. George Jefferson; and Sister-In-Laws Elmagene Hoffman (Rick), Cheryl Durham, Henrietta Johnson, Liberty Flournoy, Carlotta McDonald and Shirley Flournoy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Anita Marie Bryant; his Mother-In-Law, Charlotte Flournoy; his Father-In-Law, John Flournoy; his Brother-In-Laws John Flournoy and Orville Flournoy; his nephews Edward Johnson, John Flournoy, Jason Durham, and Marcus Durham.

His service arrangements will be held Tuesday, 05 September 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care located at 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
