She was member of Southwest Church of the Nazarene for over 30 years, where she had a passion and love for children and teens. She was always willing to help and support the church wherever needed.

Heather was known for her unwavering faith, over-the-top personality, fantastic memory and being know as a fashionista. She was small in stature, but she could light up a room with her contagious smile and joyful laughter. Heather enjoyed time with family, watching the Cubs, NASCAR, football (Bear or Broncos) and movies. She found joy in listening and praying for others, making cherry pie, anything snoopy, of course purple, Earl Gray tea and goodwill shopping. Her favorite hymn was Victory in Jesus, which she had loved since childhood. A bible verse she held dear, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Heather at a memorial service on November 3, 2026, at Indiana Funeral Care. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM with a memorial service at 6 PM.
