Hayleigh Mitchell

June 22, 1999 — January 28, 2024

Hayleigh Jordan Mitchell, a beautiful soul who had so much more to live for, passed away on January 28, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Hayleigh was a devoted mother to her two beloved boys, Keegan Benner and Kylo Mitchell-Alemen. Her love for them knew no bounds, and they brought immense joy to her life.

Born to be a leader, Hayleigh was a trailblazer in many ways. She held the honor of being the first daughter, first granddaughter, and first great-granddaughter in her family. Her presence always commanded attention and respect.

In 2017, Hayleigh graduated from Southport High School. During her school years, she proved herself as a versatile individual with an array of interests and talents. She excelled in sports like rugby and achieved numerous trophies. Additionally, she found delight in boating, fishing, and watching crime, horror, and reality television shows.

Despite her fearlessness and bravery, Hayleigh never failed to radiate elegance and beauty. Her girly-girl nature harmoniously coexisted with her fierce competitive spirit.

But above all else, Hayleigh cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She thrived in their company and was reluctant to be apart from them. Her deep love for those close to her was evident in every interaction.

Hayleigh is survived by her father, Chad Mitchell; grandmother, Diana Hundley; grandfather, Jerry Mitchell; great grandfathers, Charles Brewer and Larry Bonds; great grandmother, Pauline Brewer; sisters, Destiny Mitchell and Charlea Jo Faulkner. She was also blessed with extended family members including an aunt, Stacy, and uncle, Jared White along with cousins, Drew and Ty White; grandfather, Terry Hundley; sisters, Lily and Aby Allen; grandmother, Julie Witt, and grandfather, Alan Witt; aunt, Lindsay Witt and uncle, Levi (Bree) Witt; aunt, Nickie Weddle (Chet); aunt, Mendy Mcqueen; aunt, Anna Odom (Tommy); godmother, Amanda Capps; and cousins, Alaina (Nathan) Allen-Bone and Logan Allen.

While mourning Hayleigh's passing, her family finds solace in the knowledge that she will be reunited with her mother, Tiffiny Allen; grandfather, Don Allen; and great-grandmother, Crystal Bonds and Betty Cullen. They also remember her late uncle, Donny (Buzz) Allen, who held a special place in her heart.

Today, as we reflect on Hayleigh's life, let us celebrate the impact she made on those around her. Her memory will forever be treasured, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
