Hayes L. Alexander

December 9, 1965 — October 7, 2020

On December 9, 1965 a baby boy named Hayes L. Alexander was born to Harry L. and Roberta V. Alexander. Hayes was born in Chicago, IL where he got his initial education. In 1972 the family relocated to Danville, Il where he furthered his education by attending Washington School, Southview Middle School and Danville High School.

Hayes loved all sports, and enjoyed roller skating, and going fishing with his dad. Hayes worked many years at KFC. That was the perfect place since he loved to talk and never met a stranger.

Hayes leaves behind to remember him, his brother Dwayne, step brother Randall, and step sister Gidget. He leaves special thoughts with his favorite lady (wife) Beatrice Echols and her children LaMar (Kisha) Echols, Dunchaile (Shannon) Alford and 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grand children. Hayes had 3 nieces, 2 nephews, many great-nieces, great- nephews, great- great nieces and great- great nephews and a host of in-laws, cousins, friends and co-workers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kenneth, Sisters Tammy and Carolyn (FATS) and other family members.
