Harold Cowan, 84, passed away on February 6, 2024, in Fishers, IN from kidney cancer.

Harold Cowan was born on April 19, 1939 in New Castle, IN, to J. Harold Cowan and Frances Cowan.

Harold graduated from New Castle Highschool in 1957 and went on to earn an EET from Purdue University. He started his career as a Engineer and went on to work for Leeds and Northrup (25 years), IPALCO (10 years)

Harold married Barbara Cowan on October 21, 1962 in Dublin, IN. The couple had 2 children, Harold Cowan, Beth Hoard.

Harold was best known for Amateur Radio

Harold is survived by Barbara Cowan - spouse, Harold Cowan - son, of Fishers, Beth (Todd) Hoard - daughter, Mattelyn Hoard - granddaughter, John Hoard - grandson, Henry Hoard - grandson.

Harold is preceded in death by J. Harold Cowan - father, Frances Cowan - mother

The service for Harold Cowan will be held on Monday, at 2:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel.

Visitation: Monday, at 12:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel.

Burial: Highland Cemetery, Fishers IN
