Glenn Lee Fletcher

Glenn Lee Fletcher, 81, passed away August 17, 2026. Born December 4, 1944 in Ober, Indiana to Walker and Zora (Ritchie) Fletcher. He attended North Judson High School, then moved to California where his brother Herb was living. While there, Glenn received training in carpet and began working for Sears. He loved and talked a lot about his time in California. After returning to Indiana, he married Janice Sue Barnett of Knox on March 1, 1969 and they were married 50 years. Over the years they resided in Knox, Kalamazoo and Grand Ledge, MI, Valparaiso, IN, and Yuma, AZ. Glenn lived in McCordsville, IN since early 2024. He retired from New York Carpet World after working in Michigan and Indiana. After retirement, he continued working in various capacities within the flooring industry. Glenn loved listening to music and finding all the latest gadgets.

Glenn is survived by sons Chris (Sharon) of Fort Myers, Florida, Joe (Stacy) of McCordsville, Indiana, and daughter, Misti (Kurt) of Temecula, California, plus 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Jan, and brothers Dallas, Jason (JC), Vernon, Herb, and Devon. He is survived by sisters, Jannie Hensley, Ruth Howard, Jean Leffew, and brothers, Alvin Fletcher and Michael Fletcher.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 12:30 pm at Knox Free Will Baptist Church, 1205 E Lake St, Knox, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Services of Stake County, 311 E. Culver Rd, Knox, IN 46534. http://www.communityservicesofstarkecounty.org/
