Gerald "J" Willman

Gerald R. Willman (J), passed peacefully in his sleep on September 7th, 2026 at the age 81.

J was born in 1945 and raised in Cumberland where he worked as a truck driver and pursued his love of the open road on his Harley. He was fluent in sarcasm and had no problem speaking his opinion whether we wanted it or not.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Willman and daughter, Jayelynn Willman. As well as the many “children” and “grandchildren” adopted over the years.

Funeral services be held on Friday, September 18th at Indiana Funeral Care, 1307 N Shadeland Ave. Visitation will be at 11am with the service starting at 1pm. Service will be lead by beloved friend of the family and “unofficial” son Corey D. Chandler.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riley Cheer Guild. And those that know him well know he will be giving heaven some hell.
