Georgia Ann Troy

Georgia A. Troy, 60, of Camby, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021. She was born to Susan and Gary Vaal in Washington, Indiana on Wednesday, May 10th, 1961.

Georgia will be remembered as a kind, caring woman who loved her family deeply. Her children and her grandchildren were her whole life. She supported her son Daniel when he joined the Navy and when he decided to go into medicine. She took care of her niece Ashley Priola when her sister Stacy worked multiple jobs and went to school. She was known for taking care of everyone and for having a big, loving heart. Along with her family, she loved Mike Marshall. They were together for 18 years. Along with being soul mates, they were best friends and did everything together. Georgia also loved gardening, music, and shopping.

Georgia is survived by Mike Marshall, her life partner and best friend, mother; Susan Vaal, her son; Daniel C. Troy III (and wife Jennifer L. Troy), her daughter; Deseree M. Troy, her sisters; Stacey Ingels, Catherine Dickey, Mary Ann Weaver, and Stephanie Northern, her grandchildren; Jasmine Troy-Cuna, Daniel C. Troy IV, Colton Troy, Isaiah Troy-Thornton, Amanda Wilson-Troy, Amelia Troy, and Wyatt Troy.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Vaal.

Visitation and memorial service on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022, at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The visitation will be from 1pm to 3pm with a service to follow at 3pm.
