Gary H. Moore

Gary Moore, 64, of Indianapolis, IN died on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Centennial Heart Hospital in Nashville, TN

Gary was born to George Moore and Willadeen Breslin on July 14, 1958. Gary will join his beloved older sister Janie Jo Day along with his half-brothers Dick Moore and Ricky Parr.

Gary graduated from Danville High School in 1976. During that time he met the love of his life Carol (Haus). They married on November 5th, 1977 and for 45 years, Carol managed to keep Gary out of trouble (not an easy task).

Gary retired from Carmel Clay Schools after a 27 year career where he enjoyed having an impact on many lives. Gary was known for his award winning personality, hard work, and his ability to fix anything. He was the first to lend a hand and let you know what you were doing wrong. Willing to teach anyone, and an excellent listener. Gary enjoyed spending time camping and boating with his family.

Gary Moore gave his last words of advice on Saturday October 22, 2022 while making improvements on his Kentucky property. Stubborn as always, ensuring everything was done properly and refusing to quit.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Carol, son Gerad (Jenny), daughter Candis (Josh), and three grandchildren that will remember him forever; Ashton, Lyla, and Corbin.

He will be missed tremendously but we rejoice in the knowledge that he is at peace in Heaven.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday November 4, 2022 at Indianan Funeral Care.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Indiana Funeral Care.

Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
