Gary Eyler

October 23, 1947 — July 3, 2025

Noblesville

Gary Eyler, 77, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, surrounded by his sons and loved ones. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, to George and Sonora Eyler. Gary is survived by his sons, Rob (Danica), Cory (Courtney), and Colby Eyler, and his grandchildren, Jackson, Kennedy, Lucy, and Logan. He lived a remarkable life defined by entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, creativity, and full-throttle passion.

A graduate of Taft High School, Gary’s love for music began early. He was a founding member of the local rock band Jabberwocky, recording original songs like “Ever General Presence” and “Reincarnation.” That creative spark stayed with him throughout his life. After high school, Gary served in the Army National Guard of Ohio before moving to Indiana to pursue his first of many entrepreneurial ventures.

A visionary entrepreneur, Gary founded multiple nationally recognized training companies, scaling each to $100 million throughout his career. But for Gary, business was never just about numbers; it was about people. Many who worked alongside him stayed for decades, drawn to his belief in them and his fearless pursuit of what’s possible.

Charismatic and energetic, Gary was always in motion, whether building businesses, racing Ferraris, writing music at the piano, or hosting unforgettable gatherings. He had a gift for lighting up a room and a generous spirit that made those around him feel seen and celebrated. He loved golf, fine art, and travel, especially to Cabo San Lucas and Lanai, Hawaii, and family trips to Disney when his children were young. A lifelong animal lover, Gary adored his Old English Sheepdogs, rescued numerous exotic animals, and served on the board of the local Humane Society, where he remained a dedicated advocate for animal welfare.

His philosophy was simple: “In life, you may miss some of the turns, but it’s important to always hit the apex.” And he did, again and again. Gary approached life like a driver on a racetrack—with presence, precision, and speed.
