Frederick Ross McNorton

Frederick Ross McNorton, 86, of Martinsville, passed away on March 29, 2022.

Fred was born on November 7, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Frederick and Mary McNorton.

Fred was a United State Army and United State Air Force veteran. After his time in the service, Fred worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. Fred was a lifelong east-side resident and was a regular at the Steer Inn. Fred loved animals and often gave to various organizations including those to support animals.

Fred is survived by his Brother, Fred McNorton, and his cousin, Shawn (Dave) Rollins. He is preceded in death by his parents and his cousin, Paul D. McNorton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 11 am-1 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1 pm. Fred will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
