Fred Napier Sr.

Fred Napier, Sr. passed away on June 22, 2023. Fred, 91, was preceded in death by his wife Ruth H. Napier of 29 years, and his son, Danny F.Napier.

Fred was from West Virginia and moved to Indianapolis in 1952. Fred enjoyed working outside and always making improvements to his home. He also enjoyed going to the flea markets whenever he could. He always loved the hot summers and dreaded the long winters. But mostly, he loved spending time with little Ruthie, his beloved dog. Fred also missed his wife dearly and always wished for the day he could see her again.

Fred is survived by his children, Donna S. Drake (daughter), Debbie K. Kerns (daughter), Dave Kerns (son-in-law), Dana J. Napier (son), and Fred Napier, Jr. (son), & Paula. He is additionally survived by his grandchildren Michael Crooke, Kevin Crooke, Peter Crooke, Daniel Kerns, Angela Kerns, and Jordan Mast. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Dad, I hope you are resting in peace and are able to hear us when we talk to you because all of us love you and we want your happiness to be eternal. From this day forward, you will be with Jesus and will never be alone as he will guide you down your next path. Dad, this is our wish for you and we will all miss you.
