Florence Marie Roberts

Florence M. Roberts passed away on December 21st, 2023 in the loving care of Westminster Presbyterian North surrounded by her family. Florence was born in Indianapolis on November 16th, 1924 to Charles W. and Flora Lichtenberg Stolte. She was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and graduated from Howe High School.  Florence enjoyed her many years at J.R. MacMeyer and the Accent Shop, where her customers knew her as ¨Flo¨, and she worked until she was 95! She lived a full life of 99 years as an active woman, a loving Nana, and a cheerful friend to many.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband Ben L. Roberts, her siblings Bill Stolte and Clara Mae Stolte. She is survived by her children Bob West and Candy Tourtellott (husband Bruce Tourtellott), granddaughter Sarah Kimbrough (husband Will Kimbrough) and two great grandchildren Grant and Avonelle Kimbrough. 

In lieu of flowers, Florence asked that her friends and family place a donation to their favorite charity.
