Eva Marie Hamel

Eva Marie Hamel, 41, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home on July 10, 2023. She was born on June 15, 1982, in Winter Park, Florida, and is the daughter of Karen (Sharpsten) Hamel and James Hamel.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Hamel and mother, Karen (Sharpsten) Hamel.

Surviving are her children Keenan, Ethan, and Charlie Cox of Indianapolis, IN, her father, James Hamel of Deltona, FL, three siblings Mia (Mike) Keyser of Deltona, FL, James (Abby) Hamel of Deltona, FL, and Staff Sergeant Abigail Hamel, of Ft. Gordon, GA,; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Eva's most favorite thing was to spend time with her children. They were her whole world, and her presence will be greatly missed by them and all who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood, IN, on July 21st. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a memorial service starting at 11:00 am. At her request, Eva will be cremated, and her ashes will be laid to rest with her brother Andrew and mother Karen in the Mitchell City Cemetery in Mitchell, IN.
