Emilyn Adeva Rezkalla

Emilyn Adeva Rezkalla, 57, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 23, 2023. She was born in Manila, Philippines on April 1, 1966. She is survived by her husband, Nabil Rezkalla (Indianapolis, IN) and children Immanuel, Isaac, Michael, and Monica (Indianapolis, IN). Along with her children and husband, she leaves behind her sisters Liwayway (Chris) Makilan, Rosaline (Sami) Mutlaq, brother-in-law Nader (Claire) Rezkalla, brother-in-law Rafik Rezkalla and sister in law Magda (Sherif) Fawzy, as well as many other relatives and close family friends. 

She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her children, as well as her nieces, nephews and “adopted children.” She attended Hocking College (Nelsonville, OH) and Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis. She was also the cofounder of Lynn’s Auto Group since 1995. Her “golden girls” friends which included Dinah, Sochie, Zeny, Linda and many many others. Her family and friends loved her because of her big heart, generosity and kindness and she was adored for her selflessness. She loved traveling and ensuring fun was had by all. She also enjoyed attending concerts, and cooking for large family gatherings.   

She is preceded in death by many family members, including Benito Adeva; Lydia Adeva, DDS; Cristeta Adeva; Seymour Adeva, Sr.; Alex Adeva, MD (Col. US Army); Aurora Adeva, MD; and Dr. Dolores Adeva, MD; and Farouk Helmy Rezkalla (father-in-law) and Bosayna Rezkalla (mother-in-law).
