Elizabeth R. (McKenna) Garrison, 72, of Indianapolis passed away March 14, 2026. She was born on February 5, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Frank and Margaret (Rice) McKenna.
She is survived by her daughter, Bridget M. McDaniel, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betsy is also survived by her sisters, Josie (McKenna) McCulley and Margi (McKenna) Wittman, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark G. Decker, her parents Frank and Margaret McKenna, her brothers, Michael McKenna, Patrick McKenna, James McKenna, Timothy McKenna, and Terrance McKenna, and her sister, Catherine (McKenna) Sexton, and her nephews, Dwayne McKenna Sowers, Daniel McKenna, John McKenna, and Seamus McKenna, and her beloved dog, Lucy.
Betsy loved to read and spend time with her beloved dog, Biscuit, as well as her family, and many cherished friends. She also enjoyed bible study, Wii bowling, card games, and just spending time with her friends at Churchman Woods Senior Apartments (and before that at Crestwood Village South Senior Community). She loved lunches at the Tea Room of Rustic Root in Beech Grove, Indiana, and often spoke of how much she enjoyed her frequent get-togethers with her friends from John Marshall High School.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, April 4, 2026, 11:30 am until 1:30 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
