Elizabeth Courtney Biddle, fondly known to all as Courtney, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 20, 2026, at the age of 66.

A Life of Service and Passion

Born on February 16, 1960, in the charming town of Carmel, Indiana, Courtney lived a life defined by love, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to her family and community. After graduating from Carmel High School, she pursued her passion for helping others by attending nursing school. As a Registered Nurse at an assisted living facility, Courtney’s nurturing spirit and commitment to bettering the lives of her patients left an indelible mark.

In addition to her nursing career, Courtney served her community as a school bus driver for the Westfield Washington School District, where her kind demeanor and warm smile left a lasting impression on countless children and families.

Courtney was a woman of strong opinions and great wisdom. She embraced life with vigor and found immense joy and connection in her deep passions for horses and Native American culture. Her presence was a beacon of warmth, and her enduring spirit touched everyone she encountered.
