Eleonora Livia Radocea

Eleonora Livia Radocea, a remarkable soul who touched the hearts of all who knew her, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 29, 2023 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was born on August 23, 1926, in Dragus, Romania, to Alexandru and Maria Rogozea. 
Nora, as she was known, was the second youngest of nine siblings. She moved to the city of Sibiu where she worked as an accountant and raised a family. Later on, she moved to US to help raise her grandchildren.
Nora's faith was unwavering, and she was a devout Christian, always finding strength in her spirituality. She leaves behind her daughter, Carmen, and beloved grandchildren, Iris and Angelo. She now joins her husband, Virgil Radocea, in eternal peace.
Nora's life was full of love, constantly surrounded by her family, and her memory will stay in the hearts of those she left behind.
Visitation in Nora's honor will take place from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a service at 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Saints Constantine & Elena Orthodox Church, 3237 West 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222. The final farewell will be at Bethel Cemetery, located at 5252 W. 52nd St., Indianapolis, IN 46254, at 1:30 pm.
Her absence will be deeply felt, but her love and spirit will forever be cherished by her family, who miss her beyond measure.
