Eleanor Elizabeth Thompson

Eleanor Elizabeth (Wildrick) Thompson, 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 in Greenwood, Indiana. 

She was born April 29, 1942 to Leo and Elizabeth Wildrick in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Eleanor is survived by her children, Sherry (Henry) Napier, Robert (Lyle) Thompson, Bentley Asbury; brother, Donald Wildrick; grandchildren, Larry Thompson Jr., Henry Napier Jr., Deanna Napier, Tiffany Asbury, Lisa Cook, Allen Downey, Ronnie Thompson, Kyle York, Kayla Thompson, Kourtney Thompson; 19 great grandchildren;  3 great great grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Ronda Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Elizabeth and 13 siblings.

Eleanor is now at peace and no longer in pain. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation is Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel, from 9:30 am until 11:30 am.

Funeral service will begin at 11:30 am and burial to immediately follow at Washington Park East Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
