Douglas “Doug” Thompson passed away on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, at the age of 63. He was born in Greenfield, Indiana on March 27, 1958 to Gordan and Elizabeth Thompson (Coy).

Doug married the former Eleanora “Ellie" Vincel Thompson and together they shared many years of happiness and memories.

Doug dedicated his life to being a loving husband, father, and machinist. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Eleanora “Ellie”; son, Jeremy (Amber) Thompson; daughter, Jennifer “Jenny” Hogue; granddaughter, Haley; mother, Elizabeth Coy; brothers, Curtis (Theresa) Thompson and Mark Thompson; sisters, Deborah “Debbie” Marks and Trisha Hughes; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 11 to 12 with service immediately following at New Life Christian Fellowship, 1574 SR-234, Fortville, Indiana.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association and New Life Christian Fellowship.
