Donna S. Stewart

September 5, 1933 — March 6, 2022

Donna Snidow Stewart, 88, passed away March 6, 2022, in Greenwood Indiana. Donna was born September 5, 1933, in Ft. Collins, Colorado, to Harold James Snidow and Eunice Claire Wisdom Snidow.

Donna retired from Indiana State University in Terre Haute as an assistant professor in the School of Business where she taught business education for 26 years. Previously, she taught three years at Westfield High School in Westfield, Illinois where she and her former husband Dr. G. Kent Stewart began their careers in education.

Donna raised her daughters in Terre Haute, Indiana. After retirement, Donna volunteered her time at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado. Donna loved to travel and frequently to the beaches of Clearwater, Florida, with her daughters and grandchildren. Donna felt most at home in the mountains of Colorado. She instilled that love and curiosity of the mountains in her four grandchildren with many trips up Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, near Estes Park. You can imagine how proud she was when granddaughter, Kristin, and Charlie chose to be married in Estes Park.
While living in Greenwood, Donna enjoyed Kyle and Becca’s wedding festivities and was proud of the construction of their new home.

With granddaughters Ruby and Luna, Donna enjoyed Spring and Fall break trips to the beach and their numerous performances with the Indianapolis Children's Choir and dance recitals.

Donna was an over 50-year member of the First Baptist Church in Terre Haute.
Survivors include daughters, Kenna Frink (Ted) of Nineveh, Jill Rusk (Mike) of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Kristin Bundy Orn (Charlie) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Kyle Bundy (Becca) of Greenwood, Ruby Rusk of Manchester University, Rebekah Rusk, of Indianapolis; and great grandson, August Steven Orn; step grandsons, Jared Frink of Terre Haute, Tyler Frink, of Greenwood; and former husband, G.
