Donald David Noah, 82, Indianapolis, passed away on November 27, 2025, at his home with his family at his side in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on July 26, 1943, in Tennessee to the late Thomas Noah and Helen (Miller) Noah. On April 30, 1964, he married his wife, Carolyn Sue (Mayes) Noah and together they spent over 60 years by each other’s sides; raising their family and watching their children and then grandchildren grow.
Donald will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and dear friend, who had many joys in life. Donald proudly served his country as a United States Marine staff sergeant in the Vietnam War. Serving for 10 years until his retirement. He worked for much of his life as a welder and enjoyed the time with his family more than anything else.
Donald is survived by his children; son, Skip Noah; son, Bryan Noah; daughter, Donnia Noah; son, Richard Noah; son, Jason Noah; and daughter, Alicia Parker; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Noah; parents, Thomas Noah and Helen Noah; two sisters; two brothers; and one grandson.
Friends and family are welcome to gather for a funeral service in celebration of Donald’s life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00am – 1:00pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. Funeral service to follow visitation at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Donald will be laid to rest beside his wife at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
