Donald Joseph Albert Clark, age 88, of Carmel, IN passed away Friday, May 31, 2024. He was born July 7,1935 to Charles and Margaret (Shanta) Clark. Donald was a graduate of Hammond High School and attended Purdue Calumet University. Donald retired from LTV Steel Corporation after 38 years of service. Upon retirement, he was a volunteer at the Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. When he was not volunteering, he was always working on some home improvement project, gardening, or even attending a Cursillo weekend. We all know how much pride he took in his beautiful flowers and his completed projects. Donald was a loving brother and uncle who loved to travel, had a fondness for dogs, and had a passion for chocolate ice cream. He will be remembered most for his generosity, his contagious laughter and the many pranks that he used to play on others. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Margaret (Shanta) Clark. He is survived by his sister Jacquelyn (Clark) Pasko; nieces Michelle (Pasko) Burns and Jill (Pasko) Nief (David); great nieces and nephews Robert Burns (Juliana), Kelly Burns, Ashley Nief (Travis), Kaitlyn Nief (John) and Sean Nief; great great nieces and nephews Charlotte Stevens, Nina Curtis, Nathan Curtis, Donovan Burns and Jack Stevens. Everyone who knew Donald loved him and was glad to count him as a friend. His memory is and shall always be a blessing to his family and friends and to the many people who were fortunate enough to have him pass through their lives. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oakridge Rd, Carmel, IN 46032 on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM followed by a funeral mass at 2:00 PM. A gravesite service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 12:00 PM CST at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
