Dolores Elise Hoffman, born March 22, 1929, in the Bronx, New York, and a longtime resident of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on the 9th of April 2026, surrounded by the enduring love of those whose lives she touched so deeply.

Her legacy continues through her six cherished grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. A vibrant and engaged member of her community, Dolores was an active participant at the Carmel American Legion, the Carmel VFW, and the White River Yacht Club. She found great happiness in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life, spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the companionship of her dogs, and sharing laughter and excitement over her favorite pastime, playing the buffalo slot machine.
Dolores will be remembered for her warmth, her generous spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Her presence brought light and joy to countless gatherings, and her memory will continue to do so in the hearts of those who knew her.
