Denise Marie DeBoy, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 6, 2026. She was born on August 11, 1956 to George and Wanda DeBoy.
She graduated from Brownsburg High School, where she was Homecoming Queen. She had an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting. Denise worked 16 years with American United Life Insurance, and then retired from her career at the Indiana State Archives. While with the Indiana State Archives, Denise achieved the following - "Denise created written instructions for processing transcripts. Denise's transcript instructions led to a group meeting, where the transcript team was able to come up with a much more streamlined way of completing transcript requests. We saw almost immediate results after implementing the new procedures, with unfinished transcripts going from a backlog of 80+ to 20+ within a few weeks, and to zero within a few months. Denise came up with several time-saving ideas, including creating an electronic stamp for transcripts and saving the transcript PDF as soon as she begins the request."
Denise was an accomplished Equestrian winning many ribbons in that field. She also was an accomplished ceramist. She was awarded a First Place blue ribbon for her entry at the Indiana State Fair.
She loved her family and her many pets she had throughout the years.
Denise will be missed by her family and many friends.
