Deloris Sharp

Deloris Sharp, passed away on May 9, 2026, in Indianapolis. She was born on September 7, 1953 in Boyle, Mississippi to McKinley and Sallie Mae Sharp.

Deloris enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing cards with friends, and ticket house hopping. Deloris had a daughter, Pasha Michelle Donelson, with James Ivory Donelson Jr. 

Deloris was baptised at Friendship Church where her and her family attended and was later baptised again at Mt. Bethel Apostolic Church.

Deloris is survived by her loving daughter, Pasha Donelson; her brother, Clinton Sharp Sr. and his wife Monica; as well as her sisters, Louvenia Brown and her husband George, Bobbie Thurman, and Elorise Wilson and her husband Kevin. grandchildren, Jasmine P Hammond, Ceylon A. Hunt and Paris M. Hunt; and great grandson, Juwan Christopher Frierson Jr. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Eddie Sharp, and her sisters Earline and Pealine Coleman.

A visitation for Deloris will be held Friday, May 22, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Indiana Funeral Care East, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Deloris will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
