Delbert Wayne Southgate, 58, of Indianapolis passed away on January 2, 2022.
Delbert was born on February 21, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Frank Southgate and Sharon Robertson. Delbert married Louise (Eyre) Southgate on November 10, 1985 and together they shared 36 years full of many great times and memories.
Delbert was a God fearing Christian and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed all things cars, off-roading, and 4x4s. Delbert never met a stranger and given the chance, would help anyone he could.
Delbert is survived by his mother, Sharon Robertson; wife, Louise Southgate; sons, Joey (Jo) Southgate, Brian (Maria) Eyre, and DJ (Misty) Southgate; brothers, Mike and Steve; sister, Mary; grandchild, Declan Eyre; god-children, Michael, Victoria, and Abigail, all whom he loved dearly; as well as many out friends and family.
Delbert is preceded in death by his father, Frank Southgate, and brother, Larry Southgate.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel, 2433 E. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46143.
