Dawn Devine

Dawn Devine, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at her home.

She was born July 4, 1954 to the late John Eugene and Patricia Ruth (Ellis) Klemme in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dawn is survived by her husband of 35 years, Doug Devine; son, Matthew Devine (Megan Price); (April Gushwa); grandchildren, Nolan Devine, Myles Devine, Devon Barnes, Celina Spencer; brothers, John Klemme, Ted Klemme, and Sam Klemme.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Patricia and son, Patrick Mitchell Devine.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 8, 2023 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at Rocklane Christian Church, Greenwood, Indiana.

Funeral service will begin at 3:30 pm.

Burial to immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.

Dawn was a loving, gentle soul who cared deeply for her patients as a nurse and her family. Dawn loved Jesus her Lord and Savior, and was a devout member of Rocklane Christian Church. Dawn was an avid gardener and reader. She had a passion for Princess Diana and the Royal Family. Dawn had a contagious laugh and will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Suicide Hotline in Dawn's memory.
