Dawn Rose Benslay

Dawn Rose Benslay, a beloved mother, passed away on July 3rd leaving a hole in so many hearts.

Dawn was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She worked at Indy Fresh Market, and she loved it! Dawn was someone who was always ready to help those in need. Dawn was a generous soul and a deeply caring person. She created a safe environment for anyone who needed one and that speaks volumes about her character. Dawn was goofy, fun, and loved to make jokes. She also loved arts and crafts. Dawn was truly the light of so many lives and the memories of her will be forever treasured.

Dawn is survived by her loving daughters Lindsey, Cierra, and Jenna, her sons-in-law Luke, Kyle and Robert, her grandchildren Miles and soon to be born Hadley, her fur grandbabies Astro and Waffles, her big brothers Ronald Jr and David, her sisters-in-law Dawn, Kim, and Michelle, her brother-in-law John Sr, her many nieces and nephews, and her dear mother Pam. Dawn was preceded in death by her father Ronald Sr, and her older sister Shelly.

The celebration of Dawn’s life will take place at her church on Tuesday July 15th. Visitation will begin at 4pm, services will begin at 5pm and will be followed by dinner. Dawn’s church, Summit church, is located at 6102 Sunnyside Rd Indianapolis, Indiana 46236. Anyone who loved Dawn is welcome to come. Flower donations will be accepted.
