David Leon Franks

David Leon Franks, passed at home peacefully in his sleep on August 11, 2026.

David was born May 14,1957 to Leon and Freida Franks in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was the youngest of 3 boys, with James (Vicki) being the middle son and Jerry (Debbi) being the oldest.

David married Janet Basler in 1986. David was survived by his wife and two children, David (Amanda) Franks and Kristen Franks as well as four grandchildren Jonathan, Gabriel, Noah, and Scarlet.

David was a devoted husband who cherished his wife and family. He will be remembered for his calm spirit, sense of humor, hard work ethic, and love for music.

David loved his Lord and enjoyed serving his Savior by sharing his talent of music with his church family.

The family extends our heartfelt gratitude for every prayer, call, visit, meal, card, and expression of love during this difficult time. Your kindness and support are deeply appreciated.
