Danny Albert Drew, a devoted family man and dedicated professional, peacefully passed away at his home on April 2, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on March 28, 1947, in Vincennes, Indiana, Danny's life was marked by steadfast commitment, both in his personal life and his career.

Danny graduated from high school before proudly serving his country in the Army, exemplifying a strong sense of duty and patriotism. He then devoted 39 years of his professional life to Arvin Automotive, where his hard work and loyalty left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to work alongside him.

An avid outdoorsman, Danny found great joy in fishing and was an active member of his local Liars Club and fishing club. These interests were not just hobbies but a reflection of his love for camaraderie and the simple pleasures of life.

Family was the cornerstone of Danny’s world. He shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sheryll (Michael) Drew, and cherished every moment spent with his children—Mickie Long, Mattie Nordholt, and Matthew Drew. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Kyle Nordholt, Taylor Nordholt, Brieanne Drew, Brooklynne Drew, and his great-grandson, Walker Wright, as well as his brother Thomas Drew, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

Danny was preceded in death by his father Jesse Drew, his mother Marjorie Drew, and his brother Timothy Drew. Their memories remain a treasured part of his story.

Known for his warm personality, Danny loved spending time with family and friends, creating bonds that will endure through countless memories. His life was a testament to the virtues of dedication, love, and friendship.
