Daniel Clark Cribbs, 71, of Cape Girardeau, MO, passed away on Tuesday January 27, 2026, in Clayton, Indiana.
Daniel was born in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late Della Mae Campbell-Cribbs & Claude Vernon Cribbs on October 27, 1954. He was raised in the Lilbourn, MO area and grew up in the Pentecostal faith.
He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked for Chamberlain service stations in Charleston and Sikeston for many years. He retired from truck driving after about 30+ years.
On October 16, 1983, he married Susan Lynn Weekley, who preceded him in death on February 9, 2017.
Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Hill (Chris) of Cape Girardeau.; two sons, Tommy Bissel (Farrah) of Sikeston, MO and Jason Long of Caruthersville, MO.; sister, Barbara Shinske of Atlanta, GA; brother, John Cribbs (Laretta) of Sikeston, MO; grandchildren, Anthony Rushing of Caruthersville, MO, Daniel Bissel of Sikeston, MO, Preston Ulmer, Macy Ulmer, Christopher Hill and Alexandria Hill of Cape Girardeau, MO; great grandchildren, London, Crew & Clayton Rushing of Portageville, MO; his mother-in-law, Allene Weekley of Cape Girardeau; sister-in-law, Donna Cribbs of Eva, AL; and his special friend, Maria Flores and her family
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who he loved and adored dearly.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Vernon Cribbs, father-in-law, Guy Russell Weekley and brother-in-law, Ron Shinske.
Military Honors Ceremony & Burial will be Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 am at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
