Dale Alan Knight, 64, of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away December 1, 2024 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana.

He was born on April 22, 1960 to the late Jerry Edward and Marjorie Joan (Copeland) Knight in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dale was an U. S. Navy Veteran and very proud to serve. Throughout his life he was a Jack-of-all-trades and worked in many professions, but enjoyed his time spent on the road as a truck driver the most. He loved to fish, play guitar, sing and drive around (he could never sit still). Dale was a member of the American Legion in Shelbyville. 

Survivors include his daughters, Chrystal Smith (Phil) of Greenfield, Amber Sullivan (Travis) of Indianapolis; siblings, David Knight (Pam) of Vancouver, WA., Judy Lone (Gary) of Fort Wayne, Pam York (Rick) of Lizton, Diane Knight of Shelbyville; and three grandchildren, Devon Sullivan, Chloe Sullivan, and Emilia Smith. 

His parents and brother, Rick Knight, preceded him in death. 

Visitation is Monday, December 16, 2024, 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
