Cynthia "Cindy" "Nana" Ranee Burton, 74, passed away on November 2, 2026 and was finally reunited with her first love, her true love, the one and only love of her life, her best friend and husband, Steve. She was also reunited with many family members. Per her wishes, she was to be cremated, so there will be no calling hours or services. Her ashes will be placed with Steve, where they will be together forever for all eternity.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steven L. Burton; daughter Dawn Backous; her parents Hobart and Naomi Sutton; Grandson Jesse Backous; granddaughter: Summer Backous and her little fur child Annie.

She is survived by her daughter Gayla Ables (David); grandsons: Christopher Moore, Steven Backous (Crystal), Billy Backous (Maddie); granddaughter: Savannah Cooper (Brock); great grandchildren: Caroline Cooper, Sophie Backous, Brooklyn Mitchell, Maverick Backous, Nora Backous, Charlie Cooper and Abbi Backous.

Cindy was a blessing to all those around her. She set the ultimate standard for the best wife, mother and nana. Her strength was extraordinary. She endeavored to always be there to carry out her calling, and went above and beyond for her family. Now it is our turn to say to her "We love you forever and always through eternity".
