Cortez Leevon Milliner, 31, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 22, 2026. Born on December 10, 1994, Cortez lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to family.

Cortez had a huge heart and a smile that could light up any room — especially when he flashed his signature gold teeth. He was truly a jack of all trades. Whether working as a skilled mechanic, earning his forklift certification, or traveling with a mobile wash company, Cortez always showed up ready to work. He might not have been on time, but when he arrived, the job got done — and done right.

Family was everything to Cortez. He loved his children more than anything in this world and cherished every moment spent with them. He was the life of the party, always smiling, always bringing energy wherever he went. He enjoyed traveling, relaxing at the beach, and had a special love for old school cars. Cortez was loved by everyone he came in contact with.

He attended Indianapolis Public Schools and built a life rooted in hard work and loyalty to those he loved.

Cortez leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Ryan Milliner; his eight beloved children, Julius Jr., Torren, Bra’Yele, Bray’lynn, Rylen, Cortez Jr., Calayah, and Keyon; his mother, Lakeisha Joiner; father, Kevin Milliner; stepmother, Jennifer Milliner; stepfather, Lindsey Perkins; grandmothers, Constance Joiner and Mary Logan; grandfather, Alex Joiner; brothers, Keiyonta, Lindsey Jr., Dereon, and Michael; sisters, Sunshine, Sumyah, Serenity, Stazia, Mikayla, and Jayla; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and countless friends.

Though his time here was short, Cortez’s impact was immeasurable. His laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of us all. Cortez will forever be remembered for his big heart, his unforgettable smile, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on through his children and everyone blessed to know him.
