Cordell Wilson Adamson

Cordell W. Adamson, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 11, 2026. He was born on December 3, 1933 in Lafayette, TN to Otis and Pearl Adamson. 

He was a trade carpenter, starting out at an early age. Cordell retired from Southeastern Supply. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed gardening and loved being outside.

He is survived by his children, Theresa G. (Kevin) Pfeifer, Larry W. Adamson, David L. (Brenda) Adamson, and Linda Lawson; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Cordell was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy F. Adamson; his parents, Otis and Pearl; and his children, Mattie Cothron, Joan Johnson, and Melvie Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2016 at Indiana Funeral Care West, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Cordell will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the service.
