Constance Renee Walker

It is with great sadness that announce the passing of Constance R Walker, who passed away at the age of 63 on July 20, 2026.

 Constance was born April 2, 1963, to Clarence and Elizabeth Greathouse in Louisville, Kentucky. Both proceeded her in death. 

Constance had many nicknames. To some she was Connie. Some knew her as Boots. She was affectionately named Canny by her grandchildren as Connie felt she was too young to be called grandma. If you knew her well the last 13 years, you may have called her "Too Much".

 To know Connie was to know a woman who persevered no matter what life threw at her. Time after time after time, the doctors counted Connie out. She proved them wrong so many times. Connie was the real Comeback Kid. Connie was always the life of the party. Connie's favorite holiday: Kentucky Derby.

 Connie loved being a Canny. Her grandbabies were her pride and joy. She enjoyed conversing with Kingsley about all of the facts he learned and about football. She enjoyed talking about the newest fashions and snacking with Kyndal. She also enjoyed her quality time with Xavier and Zion. Connie enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, giving them candy, and sending them home sugared up. 

Connie touched so many. Even though in later years, she couldn't say a lot, she could speak volumes with just two words. Too Much! Connie leaves many to cherish her memory. Connie leaves two children Jamie Banks and Jonathan Walker. She also leaves four grandchildren, Kingsley and Kyndal Walker-Banks as well as Xavier and Zion Walker. Connie also leaves one sister, Lisa Greathouse as well as one brother Clarence Greathouse. Connie also leaves her honorary children whom she held dear to her heart. Dewayne Johnson, Tameka Thompson, Monique Craddock, Aaron Gardenhire, Elliott Banks, and Antonio Hardy. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends to cherish her memories.

 Connie's services will be held on August 15, 2026 at Charity Missionary Baptist (3205 N Euclid, Indianapolis, IN 46218) at 11:00 am.The repass will be directly afterwards at Sahm's Park located at 6801 E 91st, Indianapolis, IN 46250 Shelter #3.All plants and flowers can be delivered to Charity Missionary Baptist on the day of the service. Special thanks to Ciera Combs for her dedication in Connie's last days. Your hard work did not go unnoticed. Special thanks are also due to Luminary Hospice company and the Connie's favorite staff members of Wyndmoor at Castleton.
