Born on February 3, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Constance's journey through life was marked by her boundless warmth, steadfast love, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.

Throughout her sixty-seven years, Constance illuminated the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. From an early age, her compassion and determined spirit were evident—a testament to her cherished upbringing as the daughter of Russell and Beulah (Conn) Peed. Though both parents and several brothers, Russell Peed, Randy Peed, Richard Peed, and Robert Peed, have gone before her, their memory was ever-present in her heart and woven into her gentle guidance.

In Indianapolis, Constance built a life of substance and meaning, culminating in a love story with Daniel Dillinger that stood as a beacon of partnership and devotion through the years. Together, they built not only a home but a legacy of kindness, laughter, and resilience. Daniel, her loving husband, survives her and remains a testament to their enduring bond.

She was the proud mother to Amber Cook (Brian), Terence Shackleford (Heidi), Tausha Magrum (Mike), Bobby Dillinger, and Eric Dillinger (Shawnee) reflecting her nurturing grace and enduring strength. Constance’s life found new vibrancy in her grandchildren: Audrina, Landon, Nevaeh, Stella, Caden, Kayla, Bobby Jr., Leonidas, and Adelaide. Each carries forward her legacy: a touch of her smile, a spark of her wit, and a generous portion of her boundless love. Constance was also a devoted sister to Raymond Peed, Ronald Peed, and Rodney Peed.

To know Constance was to be enveloped by kindness. She was present for both the quiet moments and the milestones, offering a steady hand, a patient ear, and heartfelt encouragement. Whether nurturing her children, doting upon her grandchildren, or lending strength to her siblings, she gave of herself fully, never seeking acclaim but always offering gratitude and praise where it was due. She taught those around her the importance of resilience, empathy, and unconditional love.

Constance was a talented and accomplished business woman who owned and operated her own interior design and skincare companies for more than 30 years. Her creativity and dedication were reflected not only in her work, but in the many lives she touched throughout her career.

Family and friends are invited to gather for Visitation on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, 2433 E. Main St., Greenwood, IN 46143. A Memorial Service will follow at the same location from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., a time to share memories, support one another, and celebrate the beautiful life of Constance Susan Dillinger.
