Connie Jo Shonk

Connie Jo (Wright) Shonk (73) of Fishers, IN died January 24, 2026 surrounded by family and friends. 

Connie was born in Columbus, GA on July 21, 1952 to Richard F Wright and lda Emma Crays. She was raised in Greene County Indiana where she graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1970. Connie was proud to be an Indiana University alumnus. She went on to raise 2 daughters while maintaining a long and successful career in retail management with Target. 

Connie enjoyed watching NASCAR with her grandson Dylan. She liked playing cards and games. She loved cheering on her sports teams, the Colts, the Pacers, and all IU teams, but most of all loved cheering on her grandson Gavin's basketball teams. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Jennifer J Shonk of Destin, FL and Melissa R Shonk of Fishers, IN, and her 2 grandsons, Dylan Pitts (Destin) and Gavin Shonk (Fishers). 

Services for Connie will be held on Sunday Feb. 1, 2026. Visitation will be from 2-4pm followed by a small service. Indiana Funeral Care 8151 Allisonville Rd.
