Connie Presley

Connie (Jeffries) Presley, of Greencastle, IN and the Van Bibber Lake Community passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on March 16, 1948, in Greensburg, Kentucky, Connie lived a life characterized by her caring and loving nature, with a spunky spirit that touched all who knew her.

Connie was a devoted wife, having shared over 53 years of marriage with the love of her life, Dannie Presley. Together, they built a cherished family and created lasting memories from their wedding day on January 4, 1973. She found immense joy not only in her partnership with Dannie but also in nurturing her children and welcoming the lively presence of her 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Family and friends were the heart of Connie’s world. She is survived by her beloved husband Dannie Presley; her children Richard (Billie) Freeman, Angela (Eddie) Musgrave, Tonia Freeman, Carl (Becky) Freeman, and Joshua Presley; her sister Linda Pigman; and many nieces and nephews who were dear to her. Her loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege to know her and share in her vibrant life.

Connie held close the memory of those who preceded her in death, including her father, Chelsea Jeffries; her mother, Francis (Coffee) Jeffries; and her sister, Shirley Buehler. Their legacy lived on in the loving warmth Connie continued to extend to her family and community.

Throughout her life, Connie indulged in numerous hobbies and interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. She enjoyed frequent visits to the casino, the tranquility of gardening and canning, lively dancing and listening to music, and was a faithful attendee at church, where her spirit reflected her devotion and kindness.

The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Connie to join in her remembrance and celebration. The visitation will be held on May 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care West, located at 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224. It will be followed by the funeral service starting at 1:00 PM and concluding at 2:00 PM, at the same location.

Connie Presley’s enduring legacy is one of love, resilience, and community. Her caring and vibrant spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
