Clarence James "Jim" Wilkins

Clarence James "Jim" Wilkins, 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023. Jim was born September 10, 1945, to the late Richard and Wilma Wilkins in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jim is preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony Michael Green, brothers, Mike, Roger, Robert, Dickie Wilkins and sister, Bertha Baire.

He is survived by his children, Jodi Riley and husband Pat, Clarence Wilkins Jr. and his wife Amanda, James Wilkins, Cody Padgett, Jeff Baire; siblings, Dianna Fraley, Jackie Hall, Darrell Wilkins; seven grandchildren; three great grandsons and his best friends Robert Hibbard and Brenda Doyle.

Jim was a huge Elvis fan and loved anything Native American. He loved watching old westerns and knew most of them by heart. He loved old cars and would get the Trader Paper just to look at what was being sold.

Jim was a character with a big personality. He loved people and music. He would often go to see his best friend Robert play rhythm guitar and sing. He will be dearly missed by all that know him.
