Christina Annette Trout

February 23, 1953 — May 31, 2023

Indianapolis

Christina A. Trout, 70, passed away on May 31, 2023.  Christina, most known by Tina, was born Christina Annette Schultz on February 23, 1953 in Lima, Ohio to Don and Dorothy Schultz.  She was a 1971 graduate of Bath High School in Lima, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her son, Craig Douglas Betts, who passed away on July 12, 2022 as well as her Father and Mother, Don and Dorothy Schultz and brothers, Alan and Tim Schultz.

Tina recently retired from Lockhart Cadillac after 25 years of dedication.  The generations of owners and fellow co-workers were her second family whom she loved dearly.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Tina had close bonds with several friends and she loved you all dearly and thanks you for the love, support and comfort as she transitioned to her next life.

Tina was one of the most organized women you would have ever met and anyone who knew Tina, knew she loved to decorate and create the most beautiful bows and packaging, especially at Christmas.  Her friends and fellow co-workers lovingly called her “Label Queen” and if you ever had the opportunity to see her office, home interior and garage, you would know her favorite color was pink.

Tina is survived by her husband Phillip Trout, daughters Christa McLane, Kelly Taylor, Terri and Brian Coleman; Mother, Dolores Schultz; Sister, Jennifer and Carl Pugin; Nieces, Natalie and Brandon Green, Alison and Scott Bentz; Grandchildren, Corinne, Chloe’, RC, Cheyenne, Dakota, Kenny and Brandon; Great-Grandchildren, Christopher, Cash, Skylar and Link.

Tina wished to thank everyone at Community North Hospital and Cancer Center for their loving support, kindness and care.  In honoring Tina’s wishes, there will be no memorial service and she will be cremated and placed next to her son.  Indiana Funeral Care has been entrusted with her final arrangements.  Condolences and memories are encouraged to be shared with the family online at www.indianafuneralcare.com.
