Cheryl Louise Thornton

Cheryl Louise Thornton, 77, daughter of Homer D. and Mildred Louise Thornton (deceased), died on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. 

Cheryl was retired from her career as a radio dispatcher for the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division in 1995, and eventually moved, first to Louisville, KY and later to Brownsburg, IN to be closer to family. Pursuing her second career, and passion, as a seamstress, she shared her creative sewing talents and her generiosity to her extended family and to her many friends at Brownsburg Meadows Senior Community. Cheryl loved her cats and cars. 

She is survived by her brother, Scott Thornton and her cousins, Sue Galyen, John Willson, Tom Gilbert, and Richard Bonner, and all their spouses, children and grandchildren.
